"I created Itchyichi as meaning of "handmade no.1". "Itchy" stands for "hands are too itchy without sewing";  and "ichi" is the meaning of "no.1" in Japanese. I wish people could easily remember the name of my shop because of their same pronunciation, that's how my shop's name came up.

I make braided key chains, wallets, tote bags, backpacks, pouches and clutches using a mix of cotton, canvas, denim, leather, brand new and upcycled materials, some of which was previously destined for the landfill.

Patchwork and hand sewn stitches are always perfectly matched. Especially with denim, when it’s dyed, bleached or with frayed edges, it’s really worth to be redesigned. I love making purses by patching different kind of fabrics and leather, which makes my works more durable and unique.

Incorporating recycled fabrics into your wardrobe and accessories arsenal isn’t only green, it adds a ton of character, too.
